How We Grade Condition
Every item that comes through Preloved Labels is inspected by hand and sorted into one of six condition tiers — Brand New, Premium Plus, Premium, Excellent, Very Good, or Fair — before it's ever listed for sale. The tier is shown clearly on the product page, right next to the price, so there are no surprises once your order arrives.
Grading looks at the things that actually matter for how a piece wears: fabric condition, stitching, fading, pilling, and any marks or repairs. Brand New means unworn or as-good-as-new; Fair means it's fully wearable but shows visible signs of use, usually reflected in a lower price. We'd rather grade a piece honestly on the low side than have it show up and disappoint you — our whole business depends on you trusting the grade on the listing.
